Color Me Clustered!

Well, I'm having a heck of a time. I am trying to crochet the Color Wheel pattern........It's not going as planned. I know I'm just over looking something. SOMETHING STUPID, I'm sure. Please point out what I'm not seeing. I'm sure my lack of sleep has something to do with this..........but argggggg!

SKILLLEVEL:** Average (HAHAHAHAHA! I'm not feeling that it's very average at the moment.)

Rnd 1: chain 10, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch
3, 31 dc in ring, join with sl st in top
of ch-3 (32dc). (This round went smoothly!....hmm, see, I do know a little something about crochet, lol!!!)

through all 6 lps on hook. (Say what??? OK, That gives me two clusters in one stitch. (when working round 2) I don't think that's right......also, It can't be in the last chain of the 6....What am I not seeing here?)

of beg cl (8 cls, 8 ch lps). (Please tell me how to work the clusters so that I can end up with 8......)(I added the next part so that you can see what's going on.)
