It's Tuesday, and I didn't forget!

RICE KRISPIES TREATS
My whole family loves Rice Krispie Treat. These ones don't fall apart easily, which is great....less mess! The only bad thing...there is never enough..I'm sure you probably have one of these recipes around, but here you go anyway.

  • 1 6-10 oz. package regular marshmallows (about 40) or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
  • 5 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1/4 cup regular margarine or butter

  • Grease a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan with margarine

  • In a 3-quart saucepan; melt margarine over low heat. Add marshmallows and cook, stirring constantly, until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat.

  • Add Rice Krispies cereal; stir until well-coated.

  • Spread warm mixture in the greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Using waxed paper or buttered spatula press firmly into an even layer. ( This is the worst part, lol!)

  • In about 15, cut into squares (when cool.)

~Now sit back and watch them disappear~
